Lauren Towns (Soprano)
The term ‘soprano’ derives from the Italian word ‘sopra’ meaning ‘above’ and Lauren’s soprano voice provides a superb luminescence and a most flexible sound to the ensemble. When either executing the melody or descant, Lauren’s tone shimmers and rings clear to the furthest seat of the audience. When not singing, Lauren adores dance and in particular ballet. Her proficiency in the latter created a challenging choice early in her career. Fortunately, for us, Lauren chose to pursue her passion for soprano.
